If we knew of a place with more
opportunities and options for the
Flyfisher and Wingshooter, we would be
living there.

The snow melt from the towering
peaks of the
Bighorns - some towering
well over 13,000 feet - feed some of the most magnificent and productive
freestone trout streams in the west. Between and below the towering peaks
rest countless still waters filled with nearly every species of trout. |

Our guides are among the best in the
business. |
|
The streams that flow
out of the Bighorn range are home to trophy size rainbow and brown trout.
The still waters that lie beneath the mountain range are home to some huge
trout - up to 20 lbs or more. These food rich waters are loaded with
many food sources including fresh water shrimp and crawdads the size of
the ones you purchase at the market. Trout grow at a rate of more
than an inch per month. |

The
grassy, rolling foot hills of the Bighorns are home to countless thousands
of Hungarian Partridge. The
brushy draws and the ravines are home to sharp tailed grouse. The
lower streams and river bottoms hold large populations of ring neck
pheasant. The lower water ways of Bighorn Country are assembling
places for thousands of ducks and geese as they prepare for the flight
south. |

Here in the least populated state
in America, the outdoor experience is about as wild as it gets; but
Bighorn Country is more than just an angling and hunting destination. Here
where the Plains Indians made their last stand against the white man;
the historic sites are nearly as numerous as the angling sites. The
scenery is breathtaking, and the activities are endless. You can
play one of our fine Golf Courses, visit our Polo Field,
which is one of the oldest in America, stay at one of our Guest Ranches,
or take a walk down our Historic Main Street where many of the
buildings are turn of the century architecture, and a moonlight walk is
still about as safe as it gets. You can ride our trolley, have a
drink at a famous saloon, dine where Buffalo Bill did; and by eight thirty
in the morning one of our guides can have you casting hopper patterns to
twenty inch trout.

As we
prepare for our eighteenth season here along the Big Horns, we look forward
to seeing all of our old friends and clients; we want to welcome everyone
to join us where the trout and game birds are plentiful in a totally
private fishing and hunting environment where you won't have to compete
with anyone. Our fishing is all on private stream or still water, and our
hunting is all on private shooting preserve or private lease. Our
guarantee to you is that you won't be bothered by anyone except those in
your own party. |
